Inverloch Ends

Inverloch

Seraph Inn: Epilogue

I’ve been reading this for months.  It is that rarest of rare beasts: a regularly-updated webcomic book (rather than comic strip).  It’s a fantasy and a well-done one, too.  It is also something of a quest fantasy, a subgenre I usually dislike, but this is so well-done, I’ve been completely into it.  Her characters are wonderfully done, and it’s neat to see her skill improve as the series continues (and she started off pretty well-skilled in comparison to many webcomics creators).  She’s working on her next project already, and I know it’ll be good AND eventually finished.  Very impressive.  Go read it.  Lucky for YOU, after today, you’ll be able to read right on through to the end.

The Late, Great Mike Wieringo

Mike, you will be missed [article].  I always loved this picture, especially the look of pure bliss on Jay “Flash” Garrick’s face.

Sins of Youth
(here is the full cover of the issue)

I got to tell him that when I met him at a smaller comic book convention my brother and I attended several years ago, and he also did this sketch of the “Cry Baby” Black Canary from the Sins of Youth crossover series for me.  I hadn’t seen much of his work recently since he’d moved to Marvel, but I always loved his style.
